Community Life Inclusion Project (CLIP)

2011 CLIP Recipients

GRVEC has great pleasure in announcing that applications for the 2012 Community Life Inclusion Project (CLIP) are now open.   This programme aims to increase the understanding of young people of the variety of careers in community services.

The program gives selected Year 10 students an insight into the services available to support the most vulnerable in our community - families and children, young people with a mental illness, those with a disability and the aged  - through a series of 4 day long events and 1 half-day communication skills session.

The project is an initiative of St Laurence who has partnered with other leading community services organisations Karingal, Glastonbury, Pathways and Barwon Health to drive this program.  GRVEC will coordinate the project which will provide a select series of events based on the human life cycle.

If you are currently in Year 10 at a Geelong school and have expressed an interest in community service or want to explore community services as a possible pathway, we encourage to put in an application form.
