Certificate III in Community Services Work - VET Program

GRVEC would like to announce a new Certificate III in Community Services Work program commencing in 2012 through Karingal Training. 

 

We would like you to consider this program if you are interested in pursuing a pathway into community services in the following areas – children and family services, mental health, disability work, aged care.

 

A snapshot of the program for you:

Students will be entitled to three unit 3 and two unit 4 levels

A 10% contribution to the ATAR score is available via block credit

This is an industry led VET Program and has the full support of:

  • St Laurence
  • Barwon Health
  • Glastonbury Community Services
  • Pathways
  • Karingal

The partners will be actively involved in the program through participation in classroom learning,  guest speaker roles & workplace activities

Partners have committed to assisting with structured workplace learning opportunities throughout the two year timeframe

Delivery will be on a Wednesday afternoon with Karingal Training situated close to the Central Geelong Train & Bus Station

Experienced and engaging facilitators will be involved in the delivery of the program – all have extensive history working in the community services sector
Enrolment in the program is $187 (which includes all costs), this cost can be waived if needed

Clear school support structures will be in place throughout the program, including, weekly reporting of absences and adherence to VASS dates
