Training Sense - School Based Traineeships in Sport
Training Sense are currently gathering expressions of interest for their Sport School Based Traineeship 2012 program.
The key elements of the school based traineeships that they run are:
- The traineeships are for school students who are interested in the sports industry. You must be in school during 2012 and 15 years of age and above to complete the program.
- This traineeship involves both a course (in this case a Certificate III in Sport and Recreation) and paid employment.
- The course helps develop industry skills in areas including First Aid, Sport Trainer, Coaching and Event and Facility Management.
- They deliver training during 3 school holiday blocks and impact the student’s school timetable one afternoon per fortnight, at a time that best suits the school.
- The employment is for 8 hours per week paid by Training Sense. Students will be hosted to their current sports club where they will complete weekly work. Work can include assisting with training and competition with the remainder to be made up of rostered club tasks including assisting with junior coaching, first aid, officiating competitions and running club functions and events.
- The main sports we cover are AFL and Netball, but we also offer programs in Basketball, Tennis, Golf and Rugby.

The traineeships will begin at the start of the school year in 2012 but interested students will begin the process of joining the traineeship in November and officially sign up before the end of the year.

School Based Traineeship in Certificate III Transport and Logistic (Cotton On)
Gforce currently has exciting opportunities for self motivated people who are currently attending Secondary School to undertake a School Based Traineeship in Certificate III Transport and Logistic based at COTTON ON in Geelong. These Traineeships are to be undertaken whilst attending fulltime Secondary School and will be 12-18 months duration.
You will be trained in all aspects of this role including:
Processing of incoming and outgoing stock

Delivery of goods
-
Maintaining inventory records and assisting with stock takes

Retail customer service
Successful applicant will possess:

Excellent time management skills

Physically fit

A willingness to learn and undertake studies to gain a qualification

Excellent presentation and communication skills
